Indigenous Graduate Research Internship Program
The Indigenous Graduate Research Students Internship program at Macquarie University aims to build capacity and demystify the academy for future Indigenous scholars. The aim of the internship is to:
Provide Indigenous GRS’s (future academics) with the knowledge of academic language, process, and procedure
Build high quality teaching capacity in Indigenous GRS candidates
Develop candidates’ research portfolio and familiarity with research opportunities
Develop candidates’ curriculum vitae and employability in academia
Strengthen Indigenous GRS and academic networks across the globe.

Masters of Research scholarship is valued $38,854 per annum.
PhD scholarship is valued at $40,854 per annum.
